Children's Music Workshop Wins Los
Angeles Area Emmy® for Children/Youth Programming.
The Los Angeles area Emmy award nominations
were announced on July 10.
The 2007 All Schools Elementary Honor
Orhestra at UCLA program received a nomination and win in
the Children/Youth Programming Category.
The one hour special - produced and directed
by Larry Newman - was the only nominated program in its category.
Categories that receive five or less entries must receive a
2/3 approval to receive a nomination.
Winners in these single nomination categories
will receive their Emmy statuette at the awards presentation
on September 6, 2008 at the Academy
of Television Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood, California.
